It's only 128 days ...!!

A quick sneak preview of some of my 2012 range of Christmas decorations, which I'm currently working on! Any opinions on good Christmassy colour schemes, aside from red and white?

  2. Oh, you're so good! Now is the time to stock up our shops for Christmas, I know. I've only begun thinking I should concentrate on Halloween, and here you are getting ready for Christmas! I love these pieces you've made. The gingham reindeer are adorable!

    1. Ha ha sorry Sharon - I think I've alarmed everyone by the mention of Christmas! Hope Josh's senior year is wonderful. It goes so fast doesn't it? x

  4. Too cute! I love the gingham reindeer and the wooden snowflakes! I love red and white decorations at Christmastime.

You are way ahead of the game, girl! I wish I was that organized. I can barely keep up with what I have going on now much less add a season that is 3 months away! :)

The other color combinations that come to mind are silver and gold, hot pink and lime green with a touch of black, lavender or pink and silver, burgundy and hunter green.

I personally love red, green and white plaid with silver threads running through it. I use some metallic fabric in that plaid for my tree skirt, under the table centerpiece and on the sideboard. It feels so Christmassy and traditional with a twist.

Hey, you could add some faux snow with mica chips or the like. Have fun with it!

    PS.
How are you able to leave replies to your comments? I love this but I cannot figure out how to do it.

  5. Ooh Tammy those are excellent colour schemes, thanks - I'm liking the idea of hot pink and lime! The red, green and white is a favourite of mine too, and I bet it looks gorgeous with the silver threads.

I don't think I did anything special to enable me to leave replies on my blog, I just use the "reply" box under each comment. Sorry I can't help, I'm not technically minded at all, I thought eveyone had it! x
