Words Challenge

In the spirit of my "doing something different" weekend, this is my entry for the Inspiration Avenue challenge - the theme this week was "Words".

I've altered a photograph I took of some rather fabulous vintage spoons that I couldn't resist buying from etsy a while ago.
My inspiration was some words from "The Love Song of J Alfred Prufrock" by T.S.Eliot - the poem in the background of the photograph, and one of my favourites.

"For I have known them all already, known them all:—
Have known the evenings, mornings, afternoons,
I have measured out my life with coffee spoons"

  7. T.S Elliot must be clapping his hands and beaming. I love his words...always. And I love your art...always, too.

  8. Hi Angie. Well. What can I say? Where do you get your ideas from? Love it! How's the potters wheel experiments going by the way?

  9. Aw thank you Lisa :)

Rona I've done no more pottery since my first attempt - wasn't sure that anything else I make could be quite as beautiful as my first attempt (joking there, obviously!) Maybe one day!
