White journal

My white journal ... posted just in time for

for our journal swap's March 1st deadline!

This is the front cover ...

... the pages I've completed...

... and the back ...

My journal will travel to 8 other artists in total, both in the UK and the US, starting with the lovely Kat.

It will be back with me just in time to be an early Christmas present!

The first journal I'll work on will be Lisa's, which I'm expecting in the post any time now. Her colour theme is turquoise blue - an interesting change of pace after working with all these whites and neutrals! Click on Lisa's name to see the hymn book journal she's created, it's stunning!

  1. Ooh, Angie...I LOVE it ♥
It's so refreshing and clean...feminine and romantic :)
It will be so much fun (and a step away from my comfort zone which is good) to work in it! Counting the months...it will be awhile, I guess. :/ But that's more time to think about it!

  3. I've just written you a message on our f/b page to say this gorgeous journal arrived today!!! It is even more wonderful in reality and the way it was packaged was even a work of art that I thoroughly enjoyed opening. I LOVE it Angie!! It has a peaceful gentle style with touches of vintage and a rich feel of all things sumptous. I am totally inspired by your beautifully created pages with their mixed media & ephemera touches artistically layed out in the way you do best!

I am very happy that your journal is my guest for the month of March. I may just keep it......okay I won't do that to the rest of the gang but it'll surely be a sad day when I have to let it go. But I shall enjoy my time with it until then.

    Hugs

    1. Thank you Gemma :) Those papers sound interesting, I found when working with white that texture gives it an extra dimension. Really looking forward to seeing your pages! x

  6. Oh Angie...you are truly the most feminine, elegant artist...
So quiet and poetic a book.
I sure hope someone else leaves a greasy fingerprint in it before I get it :D

    1. Thanks so much Lisa! I can't wait to see your journal in person, I'm already excited (albeit a little apprehensive!) about working in it. And don't worry, I left more than one fingerprint myself - I just painted over them ha ha! x
