Manchester Buy Art Fair 2012

My latest art crushes after visiting the Manchester Buy Art Fair yesterday...
I was fascinated by the soft patches of colour and the narratives suggested in Rimi Yang's work
 
Fran Williams haunting, emotive figures drew me immediately - and made me want to go home and paint angels!
Rob Wilson creates gorgeous, subtle texures with paint, collage and stitch in his mixed media cityscapes
 
But if I were choosing one piece to buy, money no object (do you play that game at art shows too?) it would be one of Anna Gillespie's amazing scupltures. I adore her tiny, perfect, and utterly human figures.
 PS If anyone's near enough there's still time to visit the fair - the last day is today (Sunday 30th September)

    Manchester must be a hive of artistic activity! You post about such wonderful art shows. I love the girl on horseback, and those tiny figures are amazing!
