Craft Show Finds

I made my yearly visit/pilgrimage to the Great Northern Craft Show this weekend. Amongst the items I'm now lusting after are -
Some beautiful laser-cut paper art by Suzi McLaughlin

A  gorgeous statement ring by Sally Collins
One (or better still, all three!) of these stunning wood turned vases by Sarah Thirwell

And also, I adored the installation by Anita Pullen
(detail above). Anita was inspired by "love tokens"; items left with abandonded babies by their mothers. She casts childhood objects in pure white porcelain to symbolize the transience and fragility of childhood.

So that's one problem solved - now you know what to buy me for Christmas ;)

  1. Hi Angie,
The 'love token' art...I am intrigued...I will have to look at more of her art. And that red vase? GORGE. OUS.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend :)
