Here comes the sun

This week's Inspiration Avenue challenge was "Here comes the sun". The sun seems  along way off here at the moment; it's quite dismal outside the window as I'm writing this - all mist and drizzle.
But ... the days are already getting a little longer and lighter, and the very first spring flowers are breaking through the frost and old brown leaves.
I made this little wooden heart for the challenge - I've painted it white and added a yellow and white polka dot flower, a little wooden bead also painted yellow, and a white button for the  flower centre :)
You can see some more little rays of sunshine here

  2. Very nice ray of sunshine, especially with the upcoming Valentine's day at hand. We haven't had enough frosts to bring on the new flowers. If it happens, they won't freeze till later this month, then bloom some time in May. I can't believe our messed up weather this year. But your flowers are doing great!!

  7. Hi Angie:) I always love your heart ornaments, and this one is just so HAPPY. And the cheerful crocus.
My tulips and daffodils are sprouting up, but I am worried for them...they are confused with our new weather pattern...the worst is yet to come.

I wonder if you got an email from me a couple weeks ago? I was just gathering some of us "old" IA girls together for an art journal round robin. I just wanted to double check...no pressure :) But I certainly didn't want to leave you out.

PS: I love the sticker graffiti you shared...what a great way to change the world♥♥♥
