Pattern Creative Challenge

I've been playing around with images for this week's IAE challenge. The theme was pattern, so I took a previous painting I'd done ....
...uploaded it to picnik and had a play! They have some great effects, I could spend hours on there just messing around. The one I've used here was created by a mathematician, apparently!

You can seemore submissions for this week's theme here.

In other news, I've also been busy adding some Christmas decorations to my etsy shop. Well, it's never too early! I think my choice of background for this picture may have been inspired by this week's challenge too!

  1. Wow this is GREAT- such a clever idea! I didn't have a chance to do anything for this week, so I'll just be following along in everyone's wake wishing I HAD had time ;)

  2. That's so effective & beautiful. I shall have to give picnic a go. And yes the Christmas dec photo arrangement also goes well with this week's theme.

  3. Wow, that's amazing! Like a kaleidoscope, which I was always fascinated by as a kid. Still would be probably, just that I don't have one anymore :) I'll try the picnik thingy!

I'm seeing patterns everywhere this week too lol. And it's not too early for Christmas...people are buying holiday collage sheets now from my shop. Have been for a few weeks!

  6. Wow, this is gorgeous. I went to Picnik last week, but couldn't figure out how to do anything except put a nice frame around my image. Guess I didn't spend enough time there, because I LOVE this!
