The Inspiration Avenue challenge theme this week is "Royal and/or Wedding".
In case you've been visiting Mars or something for the last several weeks yes, apparently there's been a wedding today ;)
I'm not really a royalist. But I quite like red, white and blue together and making something for the challenge seemed a good way to avoid the seemingly endless TV coverage for a bit!
So this is my submission - a wooden heart painted in soft blue with a dark blue (kind of regal I thought?!) swirly design. It has a red organza ribbon for hanging.
I've added this heart to my etsy shop.
You can see lots more wedding-inspired art (not to mention a sneak preview of some of the work on offer in our forthcoming auction!) over at the Inspiration Avenue blog.

ReplyDeleteBunny I've actually just had a portrait done of my son - I was planning to post a pic after the auction is over. Stay tuned lol! x
These hearts you paint are lovely. I've painted wooden hearts a few times but they are not as stylish and elegant as yours. These make great gifts.
