The theme for this week's Inspiration Avenue Art Challenge was "angels".
I'm not usually an overly sentimental sort of person, but at times in my life I've felt that I have a guardian angel.
The theme (along with the lovely sunshine we're having here) inspired me to think of an angel for each season. This is my interpretation of the "Angel of Summer" - I pictured her with roses in her hair and surrounded by butterflies! She still needs a little more work I think, but I like her so far!

As this theme also ties in with the Art Auction we will be hosting May1st - 7th (all proceeds go to the charity Angel Faces) this may well be my auction piece.
