    awwww.... sob sob ... arghhhhh!!! I MISS MANCHESTER!!! i recognize some of those places still vaguely ... brown street! :) but the big fairy's wheel ... is it the eye? where is it built?

    and wow! those facts ... i had forgotten about 1st computer and atom :))

    I love your idea to do a photo mosaic with all these wonderful pictures. Your town looks like it would be a wonderful place to visit. I'd love to go there one day.

    Luthien the wheel has been there for a bit now - it's just outside the Triangle (the old Corn Exchange)and next to Shambles Square - am I bringing back memories lol? x

    Pat whereabouts did you stay when you were here?

    Bunny - the bee is the symbol of Manchester - I believe it represents industry (possibly stemming from the Industrial Revolution? Not sure)

    Lisa - there's still a bit of "grim up t'North" to be seen, here and there! And I'm actually not far from Rusholme, I can send you a poppadum?!
