7 Random Things

I've been tagged by the lovely Luthien of Pimp and Paint, and instructed to reveal 7 random facts about myself, so here you go - 1. I am afraid of spiders. Strangely, I could just about cope with a tarantula, but one of those garden spiders with the long spindly legs ... ooooh no!! 2. My favourite word in the English language is "serendipity" 3. I am a qualified reflexologist and Reiki practitioner 4. If I'm upset or stressed, I find art galleries very calming. I think it's all that clear white space! 5. When I was 17 one of my drawings was published in "Jackie" magazine 6. I also illustrated a book cover for the observation round in "The Krypton Factor" (slightly rubbish British game show from the 1980s)! 7. I prefer black coffee and red wine (though I normally drink white wine, as red gives me a headache!)

    hahaha!!! that's so interesting!! :)) you are a reflexologist?? WOW!!! oh :)) you have arachnaphobia (wrong spelling!) just like ron weasley ... good that you're not afraid of tarantulas tho ... they're pretty cool and my bro had 5 or 6 of them in his younger days :)

    Luthien, well I wouldn't say I'd exactly choose to spend time with tarantulas - I just prefer them to the spindly leg kind of spider! I certainly don't envy you that one! ;)

    Very interesting facts Angie! I didn't know you were a Reiki Practioner! I've had Reiki done many times and so need to go back.

    I must admit that I love spiders, snakes and all sorts of critters. I was a tomboy growing up and played with bugs... I know "ewe!" ;)

    Rocki you can do Reiki from a distance - I could send you some Reiki healing!
    I'm actually fine with snakes, I quite like them, it's just the spiders lol!

    yes, serendipity is a fun word to say. I like how it rolls off the tongue. I too love red wine. Love visiing vineyards to discover new ones. I detest spiders! I can smash a smallish one but if it is bigger than a dime, I usually yell for DH to get it. If I m alone, I freeze and think so it doesn'g go anywhere before I can form a plan to kill it. lol My heart racing the whole time.
