Almost Done!

This is the next in the series of paintings that I'm working on for Jennie - this one is a cherry blossom branch on a soft teal background. It's quite a simple composition but I think it works quite well. I only have one more painting to do now to finish the group - quite sad in a way! I'll post a photo of the whole group together when I'm done. I think it'll be quite poignant when I send them all off! ;)

    Thank you LuLu! All these canvases are soft colors, which are lovely together, but I think when I'm finished I'll want to do something in really bright red just to rebel ha ha!

    This is so strange. I could have sworn I left you a comment but I see I haven't. I must have imagined it. I remember 'thinking' although I'm sure I wrote it, that this painting is beautiful. I love the colours and the delicacy of it. So soothing and peaceful!!

    Now, I really hope I have typed this comment and just thought it again! They'll be coming to take me away, haha ....

    Thanks Catherine - and I do that sometimes too! I think Blogger has a Bermuda Triangle where comments get lost - or else they're coming to take me away too!!
