Hope you're having a great Easter and spending some quality time with your nearest and dearest - or at very least a nice few days off work and lots of chocolate!
I have been working on some new mixed media paintings this morning, between cream eggs (!). The painting above, "Hummingbird", was made using, amongst other things, ordinary brown parcel paper (I hand-painted the hummingbird directly onto the paper with acrylics). I promise I did wash my hands before I started this, and there are no tell-tale chocolate marks at all!
I am working on another piece in warmer colours, and also experimenting with stitching into paper. I will post it when it's done.
