Day Tripper

I had a few days off work this week, and as the weather was nice and sunny I took myself on a train ride to Harrogate, in Yorkshire (just because I hadn't been before!)


There are lots of really  lovely little independant gift and antique shops in Harrogate; it was lovely to wander round doing some leisurely browsing and window shopping. I loved this duckegg blue tinwear (above), and these sweet little birdhouses -


And of course I couldn't go to Yorkshire without a visit to the famous Betty's Tea Rooms! How yummy do these handmade chocolate Easter eggs look? Almost too gorgeous to eat (note the "almost!")

    That robins egg blue is just gorgeous not to mention the giant egg....I double dare you to eat it...lol

  9. Looks like you had a lovely shopping trip! It's such fun to explore a place you haven't been before. Now that the weather's a little better, I'm hoping to do some of that.
