Day Tripper

I had a few days off work this week, and as the weather was nice and sunny I took myself on a train ride to Harrogate, in Yorkshire (just because I hadn't been before!)

There are lots of really  lovely little independant gift and antique shops in Harrogate; it was lovely to wander round doing some leisurely browsing and window shopping. I loved this duckegg blue tinwear (above), and these sweet little birdhouses -

And of course I couldn't go to Yorkshire without a visit to the famous Betty's Tea Rooms! How yummy do these handmade chocolate Easter eggs look? Almost too gorgeous to eat (note the "almost!")

  1. OH Angie....I want your life...well, at least visit England...I think I lived there in another life...I hope!
That robins egg blue is just gorgeous not to mention the giant egg....I double dare you to eat

  2. Angie, let me know if you need any help with those eggs, what else are friends for.....:)
Also, I'm with you on the birdhuses, they are beautiful!
