I usually work from a corner of my kitchen, but we're re-decorating at the moment, so everything has had to be re-located until the work's finished.
Most of my art stuff has found a temporary home in our tiny spare bedroom (above). Actually calling it a bedroom is over generous, it's more of a glorified store cupboard, where old teddies, golf clubs and books go to die).
There's an exciting sense of the unknown about the day-to-day at the moment. Not sure why I thought a carboard box with the spare plates was the most logical place to store my business cards.
New mantra - "it'll all be worth it when it's finished".
I can't wait to see when it's finished!

I work in the corner of our kitchen too. Glad to know I'm not the only one. Best wishes!

Oh so true and can't wait to see the final outcome, I hope you'll post photos. Oh and in the future if you need storage? Just send them to me! ;D
ReplyDeleteLuLu, Lorrie, I'll post some photos when it's all done :)
ReplyDeleteAmanda - nice to meet another kitchen table artist lol! Any chance I can come round and use yours while mine is out of bounds??
Sharon that's a very generous offer, thank you, will keep it in mind! ;)
Yah, I like Sharon's idea of helping you with your storage needs.....you can definitely put me on that list;)
ReplyDeleteAnd I can't wait to see the photos of your new kitchen!
Ha ha thanks Stephanie - nice to know I'll not go short of storgage space! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's exciting to redecorate. Post pictures when it's finished!
ReplyDeleteYou may end up liking to work in the tiny closet room. I work in a room like that in our house. Must have been a baby's room once upon a time. It's very tiny but cozy!
Maggie, yes, maybe! Though I think I'd like it better if I could remember where I'd put everything ;)
ReplyDeleteI love your new banner Angie!!
ReplyDeleteI work off the end of the kitchen table usually. How exciting though that you're redecorating!! The mess is worth it in the end. Well, that's what I always tell me myself as the months roll by!
Catherine let's hope so!
ReplyDeleteThanks for complimenting my new banner - isn't it fab? It's a "Plumrose Lane" original :)
My art room is usually the dining table. My office is in the kitchen. When I had the kitchen redcorated recently I had to move office to dining table - it was chaos!!
